At every moment someone is being forced to look at your behind.  The last thing you want to thrust into their view are visible panty lines.  You could be giving the solution for world peace but when they see VPL they hear nothing. 

If you think no one really pays that much attention, think again!  No more than 10 minutes after getting offstage, a woman came up to me to thank me for my encouraging words and to tell me that my pants just “flowed.”  She went on to say that she wished the other women speakers would have checked in the rear-view mirror before they went onstage because it wasn’t a pretty site.  My fears were confirmed and my Spanx Power Panties saved the day!

I went to work on creating an easy, fun way for women to live like their nail color.  Then it struck me.  The four basic steps for painting my nails meant much more than making my nails look pretty.  They were whispering clues of how to increase the sanity, confidence and fun in my life.  By asking simple question while performing each step I was gently reminded and encouraged to feel good about my true authentic self, to be clear about what I wanted, to become more comfortable with change, and to laugh easily and often. 

I realized that by putting on polish I was not only taking care of my nails, I was taking care of myself.  I couldn’t believe it!  It was there all along, right at the tips of my fingers and toes!
