My First Bodacious Tea

It's not everyday that I'm asked to inspire women to live like their nail color at a tea, but that's exactly what the gals at the Junior League of Northern Virginia wanted and I was happy to ablige!  They even nicknamed it the Bodacious Tea.  Ha, this crew knows how to have a good time and get into the holiday mood.

Found Waldo, Now Where’s Mary?

Waldo

Hey again!  People have been asking me lately where I'm speaking next.  Kinda like finding Waldo.

Which isn't unusual because I've been traveling like a mad woman.  Since January I've been to Washington, DC to Los Angeles to Biloxi to Minneapolis -- in total speaking to over 50 women's groups about living like their nail color.  Whew!  Gotta think the local nail salons must be thrilled.

I have a few more engagements before the end of the year and thought you might like to join in on one of them.  ALL of them are open to the public and ALL of them will have a fun bunch of women!

Like this Friday I'll be in Lakeland, FL for the Women in Philanthropy Luncheon hosted by the Lakeland Regional Medical Center.  I've even created for them a pink nail color called "emPOWERment PINK!"

Here are my final 2008 locations, dates, time and how to attend.

We Could All Use a Smile :D

Between stock market chaos and election battling, we could all use some good news, huh?

The tales from my latest adventures won’t recover Wall Street, but they just might put a smile on your face.  And right now, we could all use one.

Smile #1

First, my breast-cancer fighting and winning friend Casey and I went to the 3rd Annual Survivor Celebration put on the Susan G. Komen affiliate in Richmond, VA.  It was early Friday morning at the "crack-ass of dawn" as my friend Susie likes to say.  But, it was so worth it to celebrate Casey's courage.  Camera phones don't take the best photos, but here's Casey & myself at the breast cancer Survivor Celebration breakfast none the less.

She and I are continuing to celebrate all next month with the nail color we co-created called "Mammo Mango" for the Live Like Your Nail Color Club.  She discovered her had breast cancer through an annual mammogram.  "It saved my life" she says.
