All This Time I Thought It Was the Wine

According to a landmark UCLA study on friendship among women, when women get together something magical happens.  A hormone called oxytocin is released into our blood steam, which causes us to feel supported and safe.  Our bodies begin to relax and our stress starts to melt away.

No wonder we always feel lighter and better able to handle life’s problems after connecting with girlfriends.  To think all this time I thought it was the wine!

That’s why living like your nail color is even more fun with girlfriends!  The weekend is coming.  Why not invite over a few girlfriends and have a Live Like Your Nail Color Party?!

Not sure exactly what I mean?  Take a look at this fun, short video from a recent Live Like Your Nail Color Party that I threw for some girlfriends.

Then, for details on throwing your own party, grab my Live Like Your Nail Color Party Planner from my website.  It’s easy, it’s energizing, and it’s fun!

Here’s to live like your nail color party time,

Photos from the Road!

Can hardly believe it's been a week already since I hopped a plane to speak at two events in two cities in two states back-to-back! Had a great time and it's been a whirlwind since returning. This is my first real opportunity to share some photos and what I've been up to!

My first stop was a packed house at the Women in Business Friday Night Fun event on Friday, April 23rd in the Kansas City area put on by four area American Business Women's Association groups. I shared how to live like your nail color and we even co-created the nail color "Red-ee for Success" for everyone to take home with them!

Are You Worth the Time?

Time_For_Me_-_CroppedAll this talk about living like your nail color and you might be thinking, "I don't have time to do my nails!"

That was one of the biggest reasons women I surveyed told me for having naked nails.  Other top reasons included:

"I usually don't feel like bothering with giving myself/getting a manicure or pedicure."

"I'm totally incompetent at putting on polish and at present, I can't afford the salon."

"I don't want to draw attention to my hands and my toes are tucked into closed-toe shoes."

"My fingernails usually start chipping a day or two after they are painted."
